Ross Costigan works hard, plays hard and has spiky hair. Working predominantly as a photographer and PR factory for KilkennyMusic.com, Devious Theatre, MyMusic PR & Vultures, Ross has built a strong career taking pictures of things and then telling people about those things. An avid actor of many years experience, Ross has been in the thick of all Devious productions, even going so far as to put lots of gravy in his bum for his role as Renton in Trainspotting. You can check out his website at www.oss237.com

Paddy Dunne is the man who makes Devious Theatre look pretty. He has primarily worked within the field of graphic design, both in print and on the screen. He has created all of Devious’ promotional material from conception to final print, taking time out to do some acting in the process. Paddy also worked on The Cartoon Saloon animated feature film, Brendan and The Secret of Kells and is writer/director of Mycrofilms’ online sitcom Vultures which can be viewed at www.vulturespi.com

Ken McGuire is known as the ‘Busiest Man In Kilkenny’™. A founding member of Devious Theatre, Ken also runs Kilkenny Music and has his own web design business Event Ireland. When he’s not doing this he’s playing a gig somewhere or organising a gig somewhere or generally doing something (rumour has he’s a new media junkie). He directed Cannibal! The Musical and has appeared in all our plays (as well as dabbling with Dreamstuff back in the day), designed the website and is usually the first to order the tea at meetings. Check him at www.kenmc.com
Strength: Unparalleled multi-tasking Weakness: The ‘C’ word |

Kevin Mooney has been at this lark a long time. A founding member of Devious Theatre, not to mention the 6 years and 13 plays he put in with Dreamstuff Youth Theatre, Kevin excels at getting stuck into any theatre that needs doing. He’s worked consistently with Young Irish Film Makers since age 7 (he’s appeared in more of their films than anyone), studied web design and now is in the process of becoming a teacher. He previously directed Cannibal! The Musical along with Ken.
Strengths: Charming chivalry. Weakness: Jagermeister. |

John Morton gets around a bit. He uses his acting and writing to keep himself in short trousers and often times, long ones. He cut his teeth with Dreamstuff Youth Theatre for 6 years in Kilkenny before becoming one of the founding members of Devious Theatre. As a playwright, he’s written Heart Shaped Vinyl, Smitten and also worked as a screenwriter for YIFM and served as resident writer for Dreamstuff Youth Theatre. He’s used his acting professionally for a few theatre companies and is also writer/director on Vultures.
Strengths: Versatile facial hair. Weakness: Extreme spittle. |

Niamh Moroney is a right whore for the theatre. Anytime, anywhere, any position, for free or pay, Niamh is on for it. She’s currently deep in training down south in UCC where she’s involved in their incredibly active Dramat, involved in lots of plays at a time. She and acted in and produced their version of Heart Shaped Vinyl and she got stuck into directing with our production of Trainspotting. Niamh is a founding member of Devious Theatre and like the rest of us, drinks too much tea.
Strengths: Ability to fit in around a table. Weakness: The colour purple. |
